We have been nominated as an ambassador for “Advanced Manufacturing Technology” as part of the “Made Different – Digital Wallonia” programme. Find out why here.
Continuously driving digitalisation throughout our entire company is vital to our future. This is one of the reasons why we are taking part in the “Industrie du Futur Digital Wallonia” project. Now, we have been awarded ambassador status for advanced manufacturing technology.
Ready for Industry 4.0
Every day, we think about how we can make our processes even more efficient. Digitalisation plays an important role here. We already run all of our processes in an ERP system, from purchasing and finance to quality assurance and management. We have also incorporated a tool management system. Every machine is fitted with sensors, and we use robots for loading and unloading. Our next goal is paperless production, with tablet computers at every workspace that will enable real-time QA approval and further accelerate the production process. “We are ready for the challenges of Industry 4.0”, assures CEO Annabelle Mockel.
Pulling in the same direction
The ambassador status is a hard-earned reward for all of our young team. Every single person in our working groups is dedicated to the success of our progressive projects. Open communication ensures that goals are clear and every person is involved. “We are all delighted with the award. We see it as recognition for our team’s amazing work and for what we have achieved in production”, says Mockel.
